Because every amp is hand built, quality is always top notch. All wiring and soldering is done by hand and inspected by a
living, breathing human being. Every amp is then electricly tested at all key points. If everything looks good, we plug in.
Hey, we like to play our guitars now and then too.
If everything sounds good, the amp is then stress tested with your tubes installed. All controls are set at max and a signal is
applied to the input that is 10 times larger than any guitar will ever apply to the amp. This tests not only the components in the
amp, but the tubes as well. After a minimum of 1 hour, the amp is electricly tested again. If all readings are good, the amp is
ready for delivery.
Why do we hit every amp this hard? We enjoy building amps, but once an amp leaves the factory, we don't want to see it again. If we see it again, that means you're without an amplifier; and that's bad. What you will find in every RK Amplifier:
